Simple Easter Table Settings
I love to set an elegant table for Easter brunch or dinner each year. But sometimes life gets busy and I don’t always have time to come up with an elaborate Easter table centerpiece or tablescape.
Luckily, you don’t need a lot of items to set a gorgeous table where everyone can eat and enjoy their Easter meal.
If you’re short on time this year, use these simple Easter table settings as inspiration for quick, no fuss Easter table decorations.
Green Easter Table Settings
Green is a classic color to use in spring and Easter decor. So consider using it for your Easter table settings this year.
In the photo above, sage green rustic stoneware plates are used along with green cloth napkins and green Easter eggs for a simple but festive look. A sisal placemat and little green bird figurine complete the place setting.
Yellow Easter Table Settings
I love using yellow as a color for Easter decorations because you can use the bright yellow shades found in daffodils for a nice pop of color. Or consider using the light pastel yellow shades instead.
Since yellow is such a vibrant color, you don’t need a lot of yellow decorations to create a festive look. In the photo above, bright yellow napkins set the tone along with a white vase of yellow spring flowers. A white Easter bunny figurine completes the look.

Orange Easter Table Settings
Speaking of vibrant colors, have you considered using orange decor for simple Easter table settings? Many people think of orange as only being used for Halloween, but orange shades can also be used for spring and summer decorations too.
Orange pairs well with green and pink shades such as what’s shown in the photo above. By the way, the folded napkin the shape of an Easter bunny isn’t too hard to do. Here’s a video tutorial of it from Martha Stewart:
Pink Easter Table Settings
Pink is another great color to use for Easter place settings. I like how pink pairs well with greens, yellows, blue or neutrals such as the rustic tan plates shown in the photo above.
Another cool napkin folding technique is to wrap the cloth around an Easter eggs to create bunny ears. This one is easy to do as well, so it’s prefect for simple Easter place settings. Here’s another video from Martha Stewart demoing the technique:
Blue and White Easter Table Settings
Another one of my favorite Easter table setting ideas is to use to different colored plates for an Easter color scheme. In the photo above, a blue plate paired with a smaller white plate sets the tone for this blue and white Easter table setting.
Small accents such as mini eggs and Easter bunnies are used to replicate the colors. A simple white napkin and blue glasses complete the look. Colorful glasses are an easy way to really make an Easter table setting come to life.
Blue and Yellow Easter Place Settings
Here’s a very simple Easter table setting idea using plates and silverware that you already have on hand. A bright blue cloth napkin paired with decorative yellow eggs really pop set against neutral stoneware.
Soft spring branches give this Easter table setting more of a natural feel. This blue and yellow combination could also be done using pastel shades.
Farmhouse Easter Table Settings
A lot of people like to decorate using farmhouse style decor and the look can certainly be used for Easter table setting ideas too. Farmhouse style is generally simple by it’s nature, so you don’t need a lot of decor elements to create a lovely farmhouse Eater table setting.
In the photo above, a basic blue and white cloth napkin is tied around an egg using the “bunny ears” technique I mentioned above. Plain white plates are set again raffia straw for a chic, rustic look.
Disposable Easter Place Settings
Don’t want to fuss around with real cloth napkins for your Easter meal? Not a problem. Many people like to use paper napkins instead for an easier clean up.
Paper napkins might seem a bit tacky for an Easter table setting, but you can still make them look decent. One way to do this is to fold the napkin on a diagonal as shown in the photo above.
This makes the napkin appear a bit longer and similar in size to a cloth napkin. Place the napkin on the plate with silverware and other touches to complete the look.
Easter Table Settings With Napkin Rings
I mentioned earlier about using the plates you already have with a few festive touches for Easter place setting ideas. Another thought is to use the cloth napkins you already have on hand with festive Easter napkin rings.
In the photo above, the rustic Easter table setting features a bunny ears napkin ring, a sprig of fresh flowers and a small Easter bunny figurine.
Easter Place Setting With Tulips
Tulips are a classic Easter and spring decoration to use around your house. They also make for a nice touch for Easter place settings. You can use real tulips or consider using faux tulip stems that can then be used again the following year.
Pair them with other decorative accents such as Easter eggs, cloth napkins, bunny figurines or other spring flowers. I like how in the photo above, a placemat and charger were used to give the table setting a layered feel.
Colorful Easter Table Settings
There’s no reason you can’t have a colorful Easter table while still keeping it simple. The best way to go about this is to use a colorful table cloth, different colored plates, festive napkins and colorful drinkware.
Traditional Easter pastels are great to use, but for something different, go for bright spring colors instead. By the way, for those that don’t like tying bows, in the photo above, a small clothespin is used to fashion ribbon into a bow – a unique alternative to knots.
Fun Easter Place Settings
Speaking of colorful Easter tables, if you’re looking to do fun Easter place settings, then using bright colors is a great way to go. The lime green shades in the photo above might not be your classic Easter colors, but I think they work well with the turquoise shades.
Here are some other fun Easter color combinations to consider using for your Easter tablescape:
- hot pink and bright orange
- lime green with bright purple
- lime green with hot pink
- turquoise blue and bright yellow
- bright purple with bright orange
Casual Easter Table Setting Ideas
If you’re just trying to keep it causal this Easter, you can still get a bit festive with your place settings. In the photo above, basic stoneware is paired with brown cloth napkins.
Small Easter egg decorations, a bright yellow ribbon and a chalkboard clothespin add a finishing touch. This makes for a fun vibe at your Easter meal without too much work.
