Festive Easter Kitchen Decor Ideas
We spend a lot of time in our kitchens cooking, eating and socializing (also, doing dishes!) So it makes sense to decorate this area of your house for the seasons and holidays.
That way, you have something fun to look at while you’re hard at work creating a delicious meal. 🙂
A lot of people think Easter decorations are mainly for their living room, dining room and front porch. But you can get creative with Easter decor in the kitchen too.

Easter Kitchen Island Decor
Do you have an island in your kitchen? Many people do if they have the space for one. Kitchen islands make a great area for prepping food and dining. But they can also be fun to decorate for the holidays.
Depending on your island’s size, you can either create a long Easter centerpiece in the middle. Or create a decorative vignette with Easter decorations in one area of the island.
In the photo above, a stack of vintage plates is paired with an Easter bunny figurine and a glass vase filled with spring flowers to make a beautiful Easter vignette on one side of the kitchen island.
Easter Kitchen Table Decor
If your kitchen is big enough for a kitchen table, consider placing some decorations on it to celebrate Easter. You can do a cute centerpiece using things like Easter bunny figurines, vases of spring flowers, Easter eggs and birds nests.
Or you can create a long Easter tablescape, similar to what is shown in the photo above. If this is where you will be eating your Easter brunch or Easter dinner, add in festive Easter place settings when the day arrives. Until then, keep it simple with some placemats or a tablecloth.

Easter Decor For Kitchen Counters
One of my favorite Easter kitchen decorating ideas is to add Easter decorations to your kitchen counters. This can be a great way to decorate for Easter without too much fuss or effort.
All you need is a few decorative items and a clean space on your kitchen counter to display them. In the photo above, a decorative metal bucket is filled with spring greenery and Easter egg picks. A small, rustic Easter bunny figurine sits next to the florals.
These pieces are easy enough to move out of the way if needed. They also will clean up fairly easily in case of spills or splashes.
Simple Easter Countertop Decorations
Because kitchen can be messy spaces, I really like to keep my Easter kitchen decorations simple. That way, I don’t have to worry about them getting dirty and being hard to clean.
Decorations like a vase of spring flowers, or a glass bowl of colorful Easter eggs add a nice touch to your kitchen area but aren’t too much of a hassle to wipe down if needed.
Be careful with using delicate fabrics and other materials in your Easter kitchen decorations that are fragile to dirt and grease. These decorations are best used in other spaces around your house.
Kitchen Shelf Easter Decorations
Do you have any shelf areas in your kitchen that could use some holiday decorations? For those with areas like coffee bars or plate display shelves, consider decorating them as the seasons change.
These areas in your kitchen are great places to display a collection of Easter mugs and dishware if you have any. In the photo above, a fun Easter Rae Dunn mug is displayed alongside a ceramic rabbit, fabric carrots and faux tulips for a festive vibe on this kitchen shelf.
Kitchen Hutch Easter Decor
Similar to decorating kitchen shelves for Easter, a kitchen hutch can be a good place to display Easter decorations. Depending on the size of your hutch, you might need to use some Easter decorations with a little bit of height to fill up the space.
In the kitchen hutch shown above, pastel Easter eggs are used as a vase filler. Spring florals in the vases help fill the space vertically while providing more colors to this festive Easter kitchen hutch display. Dishes and cookware complete the look.
Rustic Easter Kitchen Decorations
Does your kitchen have a rustic or country decor style? If so, be sure to repeat this theme with your Easter kitchen decor. Rustic Easter decorations are popular these days and easy to find in stores or online.
Of course you can always combine decor styles for a curated, layered look. In the photo above, pretty glassware and modern candle holders are paired with more rustic style decorations for a unique, rustic Easter kitchen vibe.
French Country Easter Kitchen Decor
For those that like French Country decorations, you’ll find that the pastel shades of Easter decor match well with French Country color schemes.
To get a French Country look in your kitchen, consider using items you already have on hand such as decorative vases, baskets, tablecloths, napkins, etc and pairing them with neutral or pastel Easter decorations.

This gives the vibe of going to a countryside house in the springtime for a lovely meal and cup of tea – very charming, yet down to earth!
Farmhouse Easter Kitchen Decorations
Another decor scheme that might work well for your kitchen is farmhouse decor. This neutral heavy decor scheme also works well with the pastel shades of traditional Easter decor.
If you already have some decorative wood cutting boards handy, consider pairing them with Easter bunny figurines and pastel Easter eggs. Burlap or linen fabrics work well for farmhouse Easter tablecloths, placemats and place settings.

Finally, add in a vase full of dried spring flowers or neutral spring flowers to complete the look in your kitchen.
Black And White Easter Kitchen Decor
For those looking to try something different than the traditional Easter pastel colors or even bright spring shades, consider using black and white decorations for your Easter kitchen decor.
Black and white shades might seem to harsh for Easter decorations, but you don’t have to use a lot of black and white decor to get a festive look.
In the photo above, black and white patterned fabric carrots are paired with white dishes, wood cutting boards and neutral Easter eggs. A green moss Easter bunny adds a bit of color to this modern Easter kitchen counter display.
Vintage Easter Kitchen Decorations
Do you like to collect vintage plates and serveware? One of my favorite Easter kitchen decorating ideas is to display these items on a kitchen counter, island or as part of a beautiful Easter tablescape.
Don’t think that you need a lot of vintage china to create a fun Easter display. In the photo above, a set of vintage bowls are shown next to a decorative rabbit and a gingham placemat. A vase filled with gorgeous spring flowers helps bring this simple Easter kitchen counter vignette together.
Spring & Easter Kitchen Decor
Can you decorate for spring and Easter at the same time? Yes, absolutely! Many people like to start by setting out spring decorations in March. As Easter gets closer, you can add in Easter decorations such as Easter eggs and Easter bunny figurines.
A rustic vase displays colorful tulips on a placemat in the photo above. This is a great way to decorate a kitchen for spring, but a simple bowl of Easter eggs was also added for a touch of Easter decorations in the kitchen.
