Easter Coffee Table Decor Ideas
Coffee tables are a nice area in your home to decorate for the various holidays and seasons. I like to keep my coffee table decor fairly neutral between Christmas and spring.
But when March rolls around and the weather starts to get warmer, it’s time for a coffee table refresh!
If you’re looking to update your coffee table decor for the spring season, then this article can help.
Keep reading through to discover some fun & creative Easter coffee table decor ideas you can use to brighten up your living room for spring.
Easter Coffee Table Decorations With Trays
Do you have a coffee table tray that you use to display decorative objects? Trays are good to use on coffee tables because they help group decorations together for a nice focal point.
I like to switch out my coffee table trays from time to time to keep things interesting. A spring/Easter decor refresh is a great time to do this, if you have multiple decorative trays you like to use.
Decorative Trays & Bowls
Otherwise, simply change the decorations on your coffee table tray for spring and Easter. In the photo above, a candle is placed on a decorative tray with a rabbit figurine and a basket of Easter eggs for a pretty, simple look.
Easter Coffee Table Decorations With Candle Rings
Another good Easter coffee table decor idea is to use a candle inside of a spring or Easter themed candle ring. This is a fairly easy way to decorate your coffee table with supplies you might already have on hand.
Candle rings come in several sizes. The one in the photo shown above is designed to be used with large pillar candles. The glass hurricane adds some additional depth and helps fill the space between the candle ring and the candle.
You can also find candle rings that fit around smaller candles such as votives and tapers. Smaller candles look nice grouped together for an Easter coffee table centerpiece. Pair them with other decorative objects such as books, Easter bunny figurines and Easter eggs.
Easter Coffee Table Decor With Candle Trays
Another way you can decorate for Easter with candles on your coffee table is to group them in a tray surrounded by filler objects. In the photo above, pastel blue candles are paired with colorful Easter eggs and small faux ivy vines for a cute Easter coffee table centerpiece.
Easter Egg Candles
One thing I like about using trays like this is that you can easily move them out of the way if needed. Simply pick up the tray and move it to a different spot.
This is a much simpler then having to move around a bunch of decorative objects that aren’t grouped together on a tray.

Easter Coffee Table Decorations With Baskets
Many people think of Easter baskets as being just for kids, but you can make use of Easter baskets in your decorations as well. Simply fill a basket with Easter eggs, greenery and other festive touches for a nice display. You can usually find baskets for cheap at thrift stores, large retailers or online.
Just like trays, baskets can also be moved around if needed to make the most of your space. I also like to use them for Easter decorations on other tables in my living room such as end tables or sideboards.
Egg Trees For Easter Coffee Table Decorations
You’ve probably seen Easter trees before (a German tradition known as “Ostereierbaum“). But have you thought of doing something similar for Easter coffee table decorations?
Mini indoor Easter trees are fairly easy to put together. You’ll need a nice vase and some decorative branches (faux or real). Place the branches in the vase and hang Easter eggs on them as you see fit. You can find Easter egg “ornaments” that already have the string attached to them. Or make your own by gluing ribbon to Easter eggs.
As a side note, have you seen the Easter egg store in Salzburg, Austria? It sells thousands of hand painted Easter egg ornaments – truly a sight to see! Be sure to check it out if you are in Salzburg. Here’s a nice article about the shop: Christmas In Salzburg: Hand Painted Egg Store
Tiered Trays For Easter Coffee Table Decorations
I’ve mentioned using trays for your Easter coffee table decor a few times now, but one of my favorite Easter coffee table ideas is to use tiered trays instead of just one tray. Many people think of using tiered trays to decorate a corner of their kitchen counter. But you can also use them for coffee table centerpieces.
Coffee table decor can be tricky, because you don’t want to use objects that are too tall and might block your view of the TV or other people. On the other hand, decorative objects on a coffee table that are all the same height can look boring.
In the photo above, a middle ground is found by placing a cake stand style tray on top of a flat tray. This tray layering gives a nice tiered look and provides visual interest for the Easter decorations.
Easter Coffee Table Vignette
Easter vignettes can be fun to put together with lots of festive, decorative objects. But where to display them? Vignettes are often displayed along a sideboard or end table. But you can have a pretty Easter vignette display on your coffee table as well.
In the photo above, a metal decorative tray holds greenery, Easter eggs and a moss Easter bunny. The tray is placed on a woven placemat and paired with taper candles for some added height. I love how when displayed on a coffee table, this Easter vignette can be viewed from different angles.

Spring Easter Coffee Table Decor
Some people prefer to decorate for spring more so than Easter, but you can easily decorate for both. Spring decorations often involve brightly colored flowers such as the ones seen in the beautiful vase in the photo above.
Small Easter touches such as Easter egg ornaments and an Easter bunny gift bag add a whimsical touch to this festive Easter coffee table decor. I’m not sure how long the egg ornaments will last with the kitty though 🙂
Farmhouse Easter Coffee Table Decor
Many people enjoy decorating with farmhouse style decor around their home. The neutral color palette of farmhouse decor pairs well with the traditional soft pastel shades used for Easter decorations.
Of course, you can also use neutral colored Easter decorations as well with farmhouse style decor.

In the photo above, neutral Easter eggs and white rabbit figurines are paired with a vase of dried lavender, a cute “Home” sign and a woven basket for a charming farmhouse Easter coffee table vignette.
Modern Easter Coffee Table Decor
For those looking for a more streamlined vibe for your Easter decorations, modern Easter decorations might have more appeal than traditional Easter decor.
Modern Easter decorations tend to have a cooler, more neutral color palette than what you normally see. Look for grey shades such as the light grey Easter egg ornaments shown in the photo above.
Black also works well for the decor objects used in modern Easter coffee table ideas. A black tray contrasts with bright green moss in this modern Easter coffee table decor.
Simple Easter Coffee Table Decor
A bit overwhelmed by the Easter coffee table decorations mentioned so far? In truth, setting out Easter decorations on your coffee table doesn’t have to involve a lot of work.
If you can find a bowl, cake stand, tray, basket or other decorative vessel, adding a bag of faux Easter eggs to it will give you one decorative item to include on your coffee table.
Add in a vase of spring flowers, a few books and a candle for simple, quick and cheap Easter coffee table decor.
Easter Coffee Table Styling For Ottomans
What if your coffee table is an ottoman vs a regular coffee table? No worries – you can still decorate it for Easter and spring.
The ottoman in the photo above makes use of a tray to help stabilize some of the larger Easter decorations. The smaller items can be moved around as needed for when you want to rest your feet.
