One of the cute ways to decorate for Halloween is to give you mantel a makeover using various Halloween decorations. Halloween figurines, taper candles, decorative bats as well as large & small Halloween trees all make the mantel a nice focal point for the room.

I also like to hunt around on eBay and Etsy for seasonal fabrics that you might not find locally.

Or just buy one instead. One of the things I like about table runners is that they don’t take up a lot of space in storage. You can rotate them out over the years or consider layering them for a festive look.

It’s been interesting to see the white pumpkin trend that has been popular for fall turn into a jack-o-lantern trend for Halloween. As more people get on board decorating with lighter shades, I’d expect we’ll see black and white Halloween decor continue to be popular.
