A few years ago LED candles were fairly new to the market. There were only a few brands and stores that sold them.

But these days the market has grown significantly and now battery operated can be found all over the place!

That’s good news, but it can be overwhelming trying to decide which type or brand of flameless candles to buy.

Use this list to find out where to buy LED candles and what brands a store might carry. Also a great source for figuring out where to buy bulk flameless candles.

Where to Buy Flameless Candles

Big Ecommerce Stores

Amazon – where can I buy electric candles? Amazon of course! Offering a wide variety of flameless candles in all different brands (including Luminara) and price points. If you’re looking for flameless candle sets, or flameless taper candles there are tons on Amazon to choose from. Many are eligible from Prime shipping.

eBay – there’s a huge selection of flameless candles on eBay including brand new candles as well as good deals on used LED candles.

Etsy – if you’re looking for unique, decorative flameless candles in lots of different colors, styles and textures you’ve gotta check out Etsy. It’s also a good place to shop for personalize memorial candles.

Wayfair – Wayfair has tons of brands of flameless candles in all shapes and sizes. Luminara candles are sold here along with lots of great holiday flameless candles and primitive flameless candles.

Big Box Stores

Walmart – lots of fun shapes and styles of LED candles. Some brands such as Better Homes & Garden are exclusive to Walmart. Many products are eligible for free pickup at any Walmart store.

Target – a great place to buy Lumabase LED candles along with other brands such as Plow & Hearth. Also includes Target in house brands such as Threshold.

Ikea – if you’re looking for cheap, modern looking flameless candles, shopping at Ikea might be the way to go. They have several different styles that can be purchased online or in an Ikea store if you have one by you.

At Home – At Home has lots of different colors and styles of LED candles at cheaper price points than many competitors. Their website will show you if a candle you’re interested in is available in a store near you and where the candle will be located in the store.

Department Stores

Kohl’s – you can buy Lumabase brand flameless candles at Kohl’s. They offer a wide variety of styles & colors. Kohl’s always has coupons, deals and sales.

Macy’s – Macy’s doesn’t have too many flameless candles to choose from, but they do have some available including flameless pillar and votive sets.

JC Penney – similar to Macy’s – JC Penney doesn’t have too many flameless candles to choose from, but they do have some available including flameless pillar and votive sets.

Belk – Belk has a nice selection of flameless candles and accessories such as candle holders, lanterns, etc.

Craft Stores

Michael’s – where to buy fake candles? Michael’s has a good selection of faux candles and real wax candles too.

Jo-Ann – Jo-Ann has a huge selection of not only flameless candles but lots of candle accessories as well. You can shop online and pickup your order at a Jo-Ann store for free.

Home Decor Stores

Pottery Barn – you can find lots of beautiful, high quality flameless candles at Pottery Barn including Luminara. Pottery Barn also has gorgeous candle accessories such as lanterns, candle holders, remote controls, etc.

West Elm – West Elm has a few varieties of flameless candles including wax dipped votives & tea lights (most LED votives/tea lights are a plastic exterior).

Crate & Barrel – Crate & Barrel has a few basic options to buy flameless candles including moving flame flameless candles.

Balsalm Hill – offers high quality Miracle Flame candles along with candle accessories such as lanterns, candle holders, etc. Great selection of flameless candle styles for holidays.

Kirkland’s – Kirkland’s offers a lovely selection of LED candles, candle holders and lanterns to choose from. Check them out in store if you have a Kirkland’s near you.

Hobby Lobby – Hobby Lobby has a wide variety of flameless candles in different colors and styles. Keep an eye out for sales and coupons – they usually offer nice discounts on a regular basis.

Ace Hardware – you might not think of a hardware store as a place to buy flameless candles, but Ace Hardware has a pretty large selection including scented moving flame & window candle styles.

Home Depot – Home Depot has a nice selection of LED pillar candles and flameless candle lanterns including the Lumabase brand.

Lowe’s – Lowe’s has a few different flameless candles available for purchase, although you’ll find a wider selection elsewhere.

Drug Stores

Walgreens – Walgreens has a line of cheaper flameless candles, most of which are only available in stores. You can use the website to find a store near you that has the candles in stock.

Rite Aid – Rite Aid has a few basic styles of flickering flameless candles that you can buy in store or online.

QVC – Luminara makes many special styles and colors of their candles just for QVC. This is also a great place to shop for candle accessories and Lumabase & Candle Impressions brands.
